Cool – Clear

Left Fundy National Park at 0845 and managed to get on the 1:55 PM ferry between Cape Tormentine & Port Borden on P.E.I. We had a bit of lunch during the 55 minute trip across the 12 mile stretch to P.E.I. It was quite pleasant; the steamers are operated by the CNR and Pullman cars are run between Charlottetown, P.E.I. and Montreal. There are 2 tracks on the ferries that terminate in bumpers with standard RR couplers. All autos have to back off the ferries.

There is too much sand & dirt exposed at the new campground we stopped in – a fine beach, tho.
