JFN discussed two points — 1) why I didn’t take 10 days vacation instead of 8, and 2) did I have an itinerary available for the DC trip on which I had the accident? On 1) I cleared the 10 days with WLZ who said to take it; 2) JFN found a carbon copy of the itinerary in his desk drawer; the Insurance CO. (Liberty Mutual) wants to be sure the trip was on official business. He gave me a copy of the letter to LM.

School started today for DCH.
Rode bus from Maynard to the Lab, leaving the car at the bus stop for AMS to pick up.
My back still hurts from last Saturday’s work.
Car seemed to run a lot better, although it has a leaky discharge manifold gasket somewhere. The engine coolant got cooler on the way home from Maynard! Found a swinging ground in the parking Lights – put it back on by the back-up Light switch.
