Took half-day off.

Phone call from J. T. Huntington in division 2 Office re: the $90 deduction; he will write to the Personnel Office authorizing the $90 deduction.

Clear – cool

Took the afternoon off to go do some errands. Took two pieces of diorite to Sands in Cambridge — he wants $25 to do both; this seemed a lot, but I left them. Went to Elbery’s for padded dash bracket clips, to the bakery for bread, to the Waltham Market for groceries & meat. This latter amount was almost $32. Also bought $10 worth of fruit at the Rotary Market in Cambridge.
