A lunch. A siesta. etc. The continuous cacophony of birds. The relaxation of landscape into environment. Structure into agreement: organized harmony vs entropy. Up. Keep. (Which portion to choose. And so on. Complexity of flourish and disdain. (spin. I don’t: I retain my head.) Three men sleeping. An Architect, A Businessman, and A Judge. (What of this : has it significance. ?). Conversation revolves around the choice of Language. English or Italian.? Language is always a battle. of some words. some way of speaking. A relative breeze blows. And so on. Concentration spills into, well, into simple being. I-and-I not screaming intensity. But acting more in some subtle way. Some other way of being. (just being. Perhaps. That is what. When to relax. When not to relax. And so on. And some structure to images. What are they. And so on. Roma over that hill. over there … The President of the Republic’s house, over there, next door so to speak. Some or other kind of. one. the first. two. the second. three. the third. A pool game goes on inside. While I write and the others sleep. Afternoon entertainment. Cool. in the shade. warm in the sun. But why is there such a gap between what is, and what becomes. You know. and so on. As I continue to think. attempting to flesh out my own ideas : What are my ideas? Work. And the human portraits that I do. What are they. Well. To constellate them w/o words and. well : Paired images would do so well. SO. To make a number of them. On and On. Constellate them. A series. And. Then. The best of imagery. And perhaps a postcard selection wrapped in Arches paper. (Check into printing by Richard …). And make a stamp ©19xx hopkins/neoscenes. And then. So. Work to get done. How it will be difficult. But and then : All this mentioned is only craft work: So far from “addressing the problems” of modern photography. But as I see so much of the academic bullshit going down. And so. What do I do. And thinking like the project of writing. Or staying on Stromboli for a month and doing portraits.
