worldview

worldview is an outgrowth of a class taught by john hopkins during the fall semester of 1997 at the university of colorado at boulder. the class, titled Critical Thinking on Art and Society is an exploration of the intersection of art and the social milieu it is embedded in -- with a special emphasis on art's relationship with technology. worldview is the second project and third project of four as interpreted by the students in that class. it is a collaborative and ongoing effort -- the construction of the central nervous system and rhizomatic neural strings branching out from that core. it will continue to expand in the next years with branches, wormholes and bridges added by classes taught in other places.
