Rec’d letter from Bob Kelleher at Sperry re: the reports we requested; they are requesting permission from A to give us these papers. Phoned him, but he’s in California, so I talked to Tom McInnis, who wrote the letter Kelleher signed and who is in the process of accumulating the papers. I read to him the BSD Policy letter on L2 dated 3 August ’62 signed by Col. Middlekauff. He had not seen it and said he would try to locate the Sperry copy. I advised him to call Mr. Resnick at A and advise him of the existence of this letter, in order to avoid any ill feeling.

RLB in to read Joel Resnick’s papers.

Why don’t I work up a paper on the antenna in ECM operations?

Spoke with WZL in hall; he will have AAG work with me to develop the ECM OP for CWV; he pointed out that he was too busy.

Clear

I overslept by 1-1/4 hours; the humidity was low and there was no noise.

Sent a copy of Lake’s proposal to John Cheever with a covering letter. I hope he will agree to the hiring of Bolt, Baranck & Newman as consultants. I’ll show Ken the original letter & attachments on Sunday. The sound system operation requires more attention in the summer due to the variation in the voices of the various supplying ministries.

Worked a little on the form strip.

Put the new wheel on wheelbarrow with a new stainless steel axle.
