Abstract:
I was invited by Tapio Mäkelä to act as Webmaster and editor of this online webspace built around the proceedings of the conference. As electronic media artists and others interested in the issues raised by electronic media, it is important that we use the medium to deseminate information to the greater community.
Biography: John Hopkins is a tech-no-madic artist and educator who regularly exhibits and teaches in both Europe and the United States. Between 1989-96 he was based in Reykjavík, Iceland where he started a photography and electronic media department at the Icelandic College of Art. More information.
