mainly, John made me consider my position in the vast network(s) of the world, and especially various creative ones. thus i've been inspired to search for, and want more out of the general constructs, of, well, everything. and that i don't have to live by the standards dictated by the empirical regime i'm embedded in -- bummer for them.

keywork streaming
|
this was the final project of the students in my Advanced Digital Arts 4126 class at CU-Boulder in the fall of 2003. during the semester, the students learned how to use the keyworx online collaborative platform for the creation of live and improvisational visual/sonic material. at the end of the term they staged a three hour relay of 3- or 4-person team collaborations covering a wide array of visual and sonic elements. the results were also streamed in real-time to a live network audience. the documentation leaves much to be desired; keyworx is unstable, so, a few breaks in the stream; breakfast wasn't finished because it was the last task of the semester for half the class, all's they wanted to do is get the hell out of class; but a few streaming jewels in the dross... thanks kids!
