welcome to <di>fusion!
di-fusion: an embodiment of
network praxis
di-fusion: a live & online open-platform TAZ/happening for creative
expression and action. the happening will simultaneously occupy
global network spaces and a local physical space with collaborative
performance, sonic, music, DJ/VJ, text, poetry, and video events.
we will be streaming audio and video during the entire 24 hours
as well as hosting a variety of local and remote activities. several
global locations will be networked with us as well. as global media
and networks become increasingly colonized by institutional entities,
the space remaining for open creative collaboration and exchange
shrinks. productive spaces must be preserved and expanded. di-fusion
directly addresses this issue at the human and community level by
moving the lead role from technology back to the human element.
di-fusion is about constructing a human network-of-practice that
acts as an inspiring and creative source for all participants.
